Bonjour!

Hi, I’m Sanika Pandit.

I made this website because frankly, I need one link that captures all of my internet presence.

So, here’s a short, non-LinkedIn flex, 100% real autobiography. My brother says my life can be made into a Netflix documentary but I cut him off. Too soon.

I’m a conscientious, creative person. I put a lot of effort into whatever I do, this website included. I also worry a lot. Right now I am worrying if I’m going off tangent and if this is the best way to start off what is SUPPOSED to be a short bio…. Also, does writing an entire page about yourself make you a narcissist? Wait, let me check on Reddit.

How about I just tell you how I got here?

In the search for something not too mainstream (at the time), I ended up studying Finance. I was a science student, I did not know Finance at all. I found myself in a new world and started to explore. I scored a near full GPA (3.95/4) as a gold medalist at my university for my Master’s in Finance degree. I was on the Dean’s Merit List for my Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Full disclosure – this was an uphill climb and life is non-linear. My education has been rewarding so far. Finance is inextricably linked with our daily lives so it gives me some confidence that I can figure it out.

After university, I went on to work as a Market Risk Analyst at Barclays. As I started inching close to completing a year there, deep down I knew it was time for change.

I left to set up my own investment firm – Coniecto Investments – at the age of 23, in May 2020. Here, I manage proprietory investments and trading and all other aspects of the business – end to end management. It’s a real exercise in responsibility, folks. I am also executing a new business model – “Internship As A Service.” The aim is to reduce social unemployment in Finance. It also allows me to test out my aptitude for teaching.

What else?

I make a lot of art. I write on my Finance and personal blog. I share (some) of my philosophical musings on Twitter. I am addicted to exploring the internet. Learning French.

Also realizing that if I tell you everything about me, how will I surprise you?
